AM I FAR FROM BECOMING AN EFFECTIVE PUBLIC SPEAKER?

Hi, everyone!
Having created an Image of a Prototypical Speaker in one of the previous posts, I think I should start the Self-reflection, in which I’m going to analyze my current qualities in comparison with the characteristics of a Perfect Speaker.
I will conduct an analysis with the help of the Venn diagram which helps to organize information visually for comparing, contrasting, or finding similarities and differences.
Please, have a look at a diagram I’ve recently created. The two fields of it contain a certain set of qualities which are obligatory or inadmissible for an Effective Public Speaker.
Thus, the pink section displays the characteristics I find compulsory for
a Perfect speaker to have. The green one
is the section which I tried to fill up with the qualities I have at my current
state. These two curves overlap and form an intersection, which is a
combination of characteristics I think I have and, respectively, are characteristics
of a Prototypical Speaker.
As you can see, I seem to be
not too far from achieving a good level of speaking in Public. However, though,
I have to admit that there is a long and hard road to go through in order to
obtain the qualities required to become successful and effective Public
Speaker. And this success depends on my great effort and diligence.
I believe I can do it. Anyway,
I will try my best.
Please share your ideas on how
to speed up the process of becoming an effective Public Speaker.
